Sarkis and Siran Gabrellian Women’s and Children’s Pavilion
The 300,000-square-foot, multi-story Pavilion is home to the Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital, the Donna A. Sanzari Women’s Hospital, and the Mark Messier Skyway for Tomorrows Children. By centralizing maternity and pediatric inpatient services we hope to provide seamless, high quality care to every family in the region. The Pavilion opened in 2006, thanks to a highly successful fundraising campaign led by the HUMC Foundation Board of Trustees.

Sarkis & Siran Gabrellian Child Care and Learning Center
In 1982, Hackensack University Medical Center opened a child care center for working parents employed by the hospital and The Bergen Record. In 1994, fundraising allowed it to expand and open its doors to the general community as the Sarkis & Siran Gabrellian Child Care and Learning Center, offering programs designed to enhance the intellectual, physical, emotional, and social growth of young children.
