Hackensack University Medical Center has become the fourth busiest hospital in the nation with admissions exceeding 70,000. Our patients, and our physicians, come from all over the world. Our John Theurer Cancer Center is New Jersey’s largest, and by patient volume, it is the fifth largest oncology program in the country. Our heart program has consistently been named one of the top 50 cardiac programs in the United States by U.S. News & World Report.  The Joseph M. Sanzari Children's Hospital was selected as one of the top 25 children's hospitals in the country and the top-ranked children's hospital in New Jersey by "Child" magazine.
