Ways of Giving
Your gift is an investment in your health and the health of your loved ones. It will help us fund vital facilities and equipment, and will provide hope to the many patients who are undergoing difficult treatments, facing unknown outcomes, and making important decisions that affect their lives. We invite you to make your gift through a variety of ways such as providing immediate cash funds, matching gifts, stock or gifts-in-kind.

Direct Cash Gifts & Pledges
You may contribute a gift by using a personal check, cash or your credit card, or pledge a gift over an extended period. You may also make an outright gift of stocks, bonds, and/or mutual fund shares that have appreciated. This is an especially attractive option, as you enjoy significant tax savings by donating securities that you have held for at least one year. Any gift may be directed to a particular program or we can apply it to our most immediate need. For detailed information regarding our Gift Acceptance Policy, please click here.

Since 1992, the Foundation's Planned Giving Program has secured approximately $46 million in new and realized commitments from individuals whose strategic thinking provides financial stability to our efforts now and in the future, and ensuring that it continues to provide the very best health care to the people of our region and beyond. Our endowment is built through charitable bequests, gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts and other financial vehicles. Thinking about making a gift? HackensackUMC Foundation offers innovative opportunities for corporations to make a meaningful difference through a compassionate commitment to the health and well-being of our community. Join us as a sponsor of the major fundraising events we hold throughout the year, or partner with HackensackUMC through cause-related marketing to enhance the social and community values of your business. Establish a matching gift program to make your employees donations go further.
Many employers will match cash gifts their employees make to nonprofit organizations. Such programs can double or even triple the value of your gift. Check with your employer to see if a matching gift program exists. If it doesn't, please let us know so we can contact your human resources department and explain the tax advantages and value of such programs to the community.
Use our Employer Matching Gift Search to see if your employer is listed as a matching gift partner.
For more information on making a corporate matching gift, please contact the Foundation office at 551-996-3720.
