Children's Cancer Institute
At the Children's Cancer Institute, we understand the devastation that a diagnosis such as pediatric cancer can have on a family. Whether you are a patient or loved one, a referring physician or potential supporter, our award winning team is prepared to deliver world class care using the most advanced methods of treatment designed to cure in a patient and family-centered environment.
The Children's Cancer Institute is a comprehensive program for our children, adolescents and young adults (up to age 22), that offers patients a multidisciplinary approach to treat all types of cancer and blood diseases. Our Blood and Marrow Transplant Program is the only stem cell transplant program in the state of New Jersey, and our physicians and medical staff are some of the most prominent providers in their field. The program performs autologous and allogeneic transplants for malignant diseases and non-malignant hematologic diseases and also for immunodeficiency and metabolic disorders. Our dedicated research team gives our patients access to more than 100 cutting-edge clinical trials.
But above all, what sets the Children's Cancer Institute apart is our commitment to compassionate, personalized care. From diagnosis to treatment, and beyond we are there for patients and their families every step of the way. In fact, we are home to the first and most comprehensive off-campus program for childhood cancer survivors in the state. The entire team of leading physicians, nurses and psychosocial staff members works together to make sure that every patient is provided the highest level of care in the most comfortable setting possible.
