Take a Walk in Our Genes
The Genetic Services department at Hackensack University Medical Center will host its first Fun Walk/Run on June 4, 2017 at Overpeck Park in Ridgefield Park, NJ. The event, Take a Walk in Our Genes, will benefit the patients and families under the care of Genetic Services and allow us to provide resources for them in situations where there are financial/insurance limitations. 2017 Susan Zabransky Hughes Memorial 5K Run
Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 8:30 a.m.
The 6th Annual Susan Zabransky Hughes Memorial 5K Walk/Run will take place on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Saddle River, NJ. The event will raise money for a scholarship at the new Seton Hall-Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine and continue to fund a riding program at Pony Power Therapies for pediatric patients from the Joseph M. Sanzari Children's Hospital. $100 cash prize for top overall male and female finishers will be awarded as well as medals for top 3 overall and top 3 finishers in age groups. Open to all ages. The winning number will be posted on the website after the drawing. *Actual prize amount will be determined by the number of tickets sold.
