"You know that claw machine they have at arcades? It's like one of them took me off my college campus, out of my normal life, and dropped me in a hospital bed for eight months." That's how the July 2014 lymphoma diagnosis felt to Chris just before the start of his junior year - and football camp - at The College of New Jersey. After intensive treatment at the Children's Cancer Institute at HackensackUMC, the 21-year-old is returning to college a different person. "I'm so much more grateful for everything, especially the incredible doctors and nurses at the hospital. I wouldn't wish my experience on anyone, but I also wouldn't change it for anything."
